  • JAMES GALLEGO, GERENTE DE METROPLÚS S.A. INFORMA EL ESTADO DE CUMPLIMINTO DE LA OBRA Y LO QUE IMPLICA EL PLAZO ACORDADO

 

Con el objetivo de brindar información clara y precisa a la opinión pública, el Gerente de Metroplús, James Gallego, informó que la obra del corredor de la Avenida Oriental, con un plazo de entrega del 29 de noviembre, fue prorrogado a partir de hoy, por 20 días más.

La obra civil conformada por 5 estaciones: Catedral, La Playa, San José, Barrio Colón y Perpetuo Socorro, hace parte del contrato Interadministrativo 4600078083 de 2018 suscrito entre el municipio de Medellín y Metroplús, el cual a la fecha tiene una ejecución del 85% que contempla estructuras de plataforma, instalación de cubierta, redes hidrosanitarias, cuartos técnicos, rampas de acceso, adoquines, redes eléctricas y de iluminación, infraestructura para la automatización y puntos de puertas andén, entre otros.

“Somos conscientes del retraso de la obra, de lo que implica para la movilidad, la ciudadanía y el sector comercial, sin  embargo, factores como la oleada invernal, algunos requerimientos técnicos y falencias del Consorcio Metroplús Avenida Oriental, contratista de la obra, conllevaron a solicitar esta ampliación de plazo que no generará costo adicional para Metroplús. Garantizamos la totalidad de los recursos para su culminación y puesta en marcha, contando incluso con el sistema de automatización e instalación de las puertas, los cuales se harán una vez finalizada la obra civil, en el plazo de la prórroga establecida.

Seguimos con el compromiso de entregar una obra en las mejores condiciones para el servicio de toda la comunidad, esperando subsanar los impases externos que se han tenido”,  puntualizó el Gerente de la entidad.
