El Área Metropolitana, autoridad ambiental del Valle de Aburrá, entregó ayer una resolución en la que autoriza el aprovechamiento forestal para la construcción del Tramo 2B de Envigado el cual se encontraba suspendido desde 2013.

El permiso había sido solicitado nuevamente por el Municipio de Envigado desde 2017, con el acompañamiento de Metroplús. Dentro del trámite, la autoridad ambiental abrió el espacio a la comunidad y realizó dos audiencias públicas e hizo unos requerimientos adicionales que fueron entregados en 2018.

Para la solicitud del permiso se realizó un inventario de la flora presente en el tramo y se encontraron 420 individuos arbóreos pertenecientes a 89 especies.

Mediante la Resolución Metropolitana 0740 del 5 de abril de 2019 el Área Metropolitana determinó que 252 árboles deberán ser conservados, es decir el 60% de los presentes en la zona, 32 deberán ser podados, 30 trasplantados, 133 árboles serán talados para darle paso a la construcción de las obras y 286 ejemplares deberán ser repuestos para mitigar el impacto ambiental que produce la tala.

Con este concepto el AMVA autorizó hacer la conservación de 13 ejemplares menos a los requeridos, exigió el trasplante de 11 más de los presupuestados y negó la tala de 3 árboles en la zona de influencia del proyecto.

“Hay varios pasos preliminares antes de poner en marcha la construcción. Los principales son la reactivación del contrato con el contratista que tiene el tramo adjudicado y activar con el municipio de Envigado, quien es el beneficiario del permiso, las mesas de trabajo para avanzar en un plan de acción que permita poner en marcha la obra” indicó el gerente Andrés Moreno.
