La Avenida Oriental estuvo colapsada durante muchísimo tiempo. Transitar por allí era un verdadero suplicio en cualquier medio de transporte, cualquier día de la semana y durante cualquier horario. Siendo una avenida insignia de la ciudad y reconocida internacionalmente, esto significaba un taponamiento indeseable en el corazón mismo de nuestra  Medellín… Y así estuvo la situación un par de años, hasta que se logró terminar, con un concurso de voluntades.

Ahora, circular por el centro es un placer, un alivio, con la velocidad y capacidad que lo hace nuestro Metroplús.
