- Metroplús S.A. y la Alcaldía de Envigado informan que el contrato con el Consorcio Gayco – Hycsa, para la construcción de las obras del Tramo 2A de Envigado, ha terminado por vencimiento de plazo.
- La obra que alcanzó un 95% de ejecución física, tiene pendiente la culminación del frente 3 (comprendido entre la estación de servicio Texaco a calle 36Sur –pasaje del Éxito)
- Metroplús S.A., en conjunto con la Alcaldía de Envigado, adelantan acciones pertinentes para que en el menor tiempo posible se puedan culminar las obras.
Pese a las acciones por parte de Metroplús S.A., la Administración Municipal de Envigado y la interventoría, para garantizar la ejecución total de las obras del sector San Marcos – Parque del Inder, el Consorcio Gayco – Hycsa, contratista encargado de la obra, no cumplió con el plan de trabajo acordado para su terminación, de acuerdo con la última modificación suscrita, dejando el proceso constructivo del corredor en un 95%.
A la fecha se han concluido parcialmente los frentes 1 (Iglesia San Marcos – sector Consumo), 2 (sector Consumo – Estación de servicio Texaco), 4 (desde la Notaría 1ra a calle 38Sur – vía que lleva al parque principal) y 5 (de calle 38 Sur a 39 Sur -sector Guanteros), quedando pendiente la semaforización, demarcación vial y algunas zonas por adecuación de espacio público. El sector ya cuenta con dos nuevos parques, La Fecundidad y Andalucía, construidos durante la obra y que aportan 3.946 m2 de nuevo espacio público al municipio.
Retrasos por parte del contratista
El contrato N° 61 de 2016, tenía como plazo inicial de entrega el primero de octubre de 2017, no obstante las obras adicionales y las modificaciones de tiempo justificados debidamente por la interventoría, el consorcio no logró concluir las obras, llegando al porcentaje físico antes mencionado y a la ejecución financiera de 89.39%
En este sentido, la interventoría a cargo del Consorcio Team- Saitec, adelantará la liquidación del contrato y junto con el contratista verificará que se atienda la corrección de defectos o detalles de las obras ejecutadas, para entregar las mismas en óptimas condiciones de calidad. También se estudia el proceso jurídico a seguir.
Actividades pendientes por culminar
El plazo para la terminación del contrato de obra que venció el pasado 30 de septiembre tiene pendiente de culminación, terminar la estructura de pavimento, acometidas de acueducto, adecuación del espacio público, demarcación vial, señalización vertical y semaforización, en el costado oriental entre calles 33B Sur y 36 Sur (Texaco – pasaje Éxito).
