Cerca de 400 millones de pesos se alcanzaron a invertir para reanudar las obras del tramo de metroplús en el Túnel Verde, en Envigado, que reiniciaría el pasado 21 de agosto. No obstante, ocho días antes un juzgado de Medellín, por una medida cautelar, suspendió de nuevo la construcción.
Metroplús apeló la decisión y ahora la determinación está en el Tribunal Administrativo de Antioquia. Además, la entidad demandará la acción popular que interpuso el Colectivo Túnel Verde, según aseguró a Vivir en El Poblado James Gallego, gerente del sistema.
Según el gerente de Metroplús, los contratistas llevaban más de un mes trabajando en rectificaciones de áreas, topografía y levantamiento de actas de vecindad. Luego llegó la suspensión.
“Hoy los grandes afectados son los envigadeños porque no les han dejado avanzar en la conectividad que ya va en San Marcos”, explicó Gallego y añadió que “ha sido una lucha de siete años, con pérdidas por miles y miles de millones de pesos que los van a tener que pagar los residentes de este municipio”.
Hace siete años la obra costaba 15 mil millones de pesos y ahora vale 26 mil millones de pesos, dijo Gallego y puntualizó: “yo como empresa voy a construir carriles, a mejorar la movilidad en los territorios, lo que queda por conectar entre Medellín y Sabaneta es muy poco”.
Vivir en El Poblado quiso conocer el punto de vista del alcalde de Envigado, Braulio Espinosa, quien ha dicho que la obra se tiene que desarrollar, y también explorar con él sus propuestas de solución. No fue posible obtenerlas por razones de su agenda.
