- A través del contrato suscrito con el consorcio M2A, Metroplús culminó las obras del Tramo 2A de Envigado.
- Los recursos para ejecución del Tramo 2A, provinieron de la cofinanciación, el cobro de la garantía bancaria de cumplimiento y recursos adicionales suministrados por el municipio de Envigado.
- Actualmente continúa en ejecución el contrato para la disposición final de los hallazgos arqueológicos y cierre del expediente arqueológico.
Con gran satisfacción Metroplús S.A. y la Alcaldía de Envigado, hacen entrega a la comunidad del Tramo 2A y obras complementarias del Sistema Metroplús, corredor localizado en la carrera 43 A entre las calles 31 Sur sector San Marcos y 39 Sur Guanteros.
El proyecto tuvo una inversión aproximada a los 34.000 millones de pesos, de los cuales el Consorcio Gaico – Hycsa ejecutó cerca de 25.000 millones de pesos hasta el 30 de septiembre de 2018 y los recursos restantes para la culminación provinieron del cobro de la garantía bancaria de cumplimiento a Gaico – Hycsa por un valor de 2.449 millones de pesos y recursos adicionales de 1.900 millones entregados por el municipio de Envigado.
El Consorcio M2A, conformado por las empresas Construcciones Civiles JD y Serie Ingenieros, fue el encargado de ejecutar las obras civiles de culminación, por un valor aproximado de 2.108 millones de pesos, incluyendo la interventoría, las cuales comprenden la adecuación del espacio público y estructura del pavimento en zonas de estación, así como la construcción, reparación de losas en concreto rígido e instalación de pavimento asfáltico; reparación y reconstrucción de andenes y cruces peatonales identificados, legalización de redes de servicios público, puesta en funcionamiento del alumbrado público del corredor, empalme de la red de conducción Ayurá, mantenimiento de árboles y zonas verdes, instalación de la señalización y demarcación horizontal y vertical.
Asimismo, a través de otras contrataciones se hizo el suministro e instalación del mobiliario semafórico del corredor, con una inversión aproximada de 1.078 millones de pesos. Actualmente se adelanta la etapa final del contrato del cierre del expediente arqueológico ante el ICANH, que se encuentra en elaboración del documento definitivo y por el que se definirá la disposición de los hallazgos arqueológicos con el municipio de Envigado. Este contrato tiene una inversión aproximada de 529 millones de pesos.
Para Metroplús S.A. y la Alcaldía de Envigado es de gran complacencia entregar hoy a los envigadeños un corredor de 950 metros de nueva vía conformada por tres carriles en cada costado, que brindan la posibilidad de transitar en doble sentido por este tramo; así como el disfrute de un renovado espacio público que incluye dos nuevos parques para el municipio: La Fecundidad y Andalucía ubicados en el Sector de San Marcos.
El Tramo 2A junto con el Tramo 1, localizado entre los límites con el municipio de Sabaneta y Guanteros, culminado y puesto en funcionamiento desde el año 2012 y el Tramo 2B, recientemente reiniciado, hacen parte de la Pretroncal del Sur del Sistema Metroplús en el municipio de Envigado, proyectos que le apuestan a una Movilidad Inteligente y Sostenible.
