El Tribunal Administrativo de Antioquia acaba de revocar la medida cautelar ordenada por el Juzgado 13 Administrativo Oral de Medellín que suspendía el contrato del Tramo 2B de Metroplús, Envigado, con lo cual se vendría la reactivación de las obras en el sector del Túnel Verde.
Este fallo es de segunda instancia y ratifica el fallo inicial emitido por el mismo tribunal, pero frente al cual El Consejo de Estado, respondiendo una tutela que pedía la protección de la Acción Popular instaurada ante el Juzgado 13, le exigió al alto Tribunal antioqueño explicar a fondo las razones de su fallo, teniendo en cuenta las afectaciones que dicha obra implican para los residentes en el sector.
Como se recuerda, la interrupción de las obras de Metroplús en dicho tramo, entre La Frontera y la quebrada La Ayurá, han originado una fuerte congestión vial en el sector, lo que ha generado descontento entre los ciudadanos por las dificultades en la movilidad.
Vale recordar que la tala de los árboles en el Túnel Verde se inició el 26 de diciembre pasado y el 8 de febrero se reanudaron los trabajos en la vía, concretamente en la calzada occidental del tramo entre La Frontera y La Ayurá, y cuando todo marchaba sin contratiempos, el 16 de febrero el Consejo de Estado le ordenó al Tribunal Administrativo de Antioquia suspender el permiso de reinicio de las obras y emitir un nuevo pronunciamiento, el cual fue dado este viernes en la tarde.
En el sector se construirán un tercer carril y un paradero de buses para el sistema Metroplús.
Este proyecto está prácticamente parado desde 2013 por un fallo que ordenó la suspensión de las obras hasta resolver un litigio ambiental por la tala de árboles en la zona.
