Metroplús reactiva obras de la calle 12 sur con una inversión de $22.900 millones y sin sobrecostos
– Las labores son posibles gracias al contrato de obra 66 del 2020, suscrito el pasado 30 de diciembre con la Unión Temporal del Sur. La interventoría estará a cargo de Escala CCI SAS.
– Desde el 19 de abril habrá cierre total de la calle 12 sur, entre la calzada de servicio de la carrera 50 FF y la carrera 50 FF (Avenida 80).
Con una inversión de $22.900 millones, la Alcaldía de Medellín, a través de Metroplús, iniciará este 19 de abril las obras de construcción fase 1 y obras complementarias sobre la calle 12 sur, que comprenden 1.8 kilómetros de extensión.
Las labores se adelantarán entre las avenidas El Poblado y Guayabal hasta el inicio del puente de La Aguacatala para conectar Medellín, Envigado e Itagüí.
En este proyecto, la Nación aporta $20.876 millones y el Municipio $2.096 millones. El contrato fue adjudicado el 30 de diciembre de 2020 a la Unión Temporal del Sur y la interventoría estará a cargo de Escala CCI SAS.
“El proyecto de la 12 Sur traerá incontables beneficios, pues con la implementación de una infraestructura liviana de carriles troncales y pretroncales se darán mejores soluciones de movilidad a los futuros usuarios, al conectar los municipios de Medellín, Envigado e Itagüí mediante los buses de servicio público y demás modos de transporte como el Metro, Encicla y el futuro sistema de la 80”, dijo el gerente encargado de Metroplús S.A., Samir Alonso Murillo Palacios.
Se construirá, además, el corredor exclusivo para el sistema de buses y se realizará mejoramiento de la capacidad hidráulica de la quebrada La Jabalcona, “que evitará futuros desbordamientos y proporcionará 14.275 metros cuadrados de espacio público a ambos costados del referente hídrico, con mobiliario urbano y zonas verdes que aportarán desarrollo, inclusión y disfrute de los transeúntes y comunidad aledaña”, agregó el gerente encargado.
Cierres viales durante la construcción de la obra
La reactivación de obras en la calle 12 sur implicará su cierre las 24 horas –cierre total-, desde el 19 de abril, entre la calzada de servicio de la carrera 50 FF y la carrera 50 FF (Avenida 80).
También se presentarán los siguientes cierres parciales:
- Cierre de la calzada norte (en sentido oriente – occidente) de la calle 12 sur entre la carrera 50 C (lazo de la autopista sur) y la carrera 50 FF (Avenida 80).
- Cierre de la calzada norte (en sentido oriente – occidente) de la calle 12 sur entre la vía de servicio de la carrera 50 FF y la carrera 51.
- Cierre de la calzada sur (en sentido occidente – oriente) de la calle 12 sur entre
las carreras 51 y 51 G. (Itagüí).
- Cierre de la calzada sur (en sentido occidente – oriente) de la calle 12 sur entre las carreras 50 G y 50 FF, a partir del 1 de junio (Itagüí).
- Cierre de la calzada sur (en sentido occidente – oriente) de la calle 12 sur entre la carrera 50 FF y la Autopista Sur, a partir del 1 de septiembre (Itagüí).
La Alcaldía de Medellín y Metroplús invitan a la ciudadanía a conducir con precaución, planear sus recorridos y dirigirse por la calle 12 sur entre las carreras 50 FF y 51 como vía alterna.
Quienes circulan en sentido oriente-occidente pueden tomar la carrera 50 FF en sentido norte hasta la calle 8 sur y continuar por esta vía hasta la carrera 50 E, girar sobre la calle 8 sur nuevamente y continuar hasta la carrera 51 para llegar a la calle 12 sur y, de esta manera, finalizar el recorrido a través de esta vía para salir a la carrera 52 (Avenida Guayabal).
