A través del contrato de culminación del Tramo 2A y obras complementarias en el municipio de Envigado, que inició actividades el pasado 22 de noviembre, Metroplús terminará totalmente el corredor ubicado en el sector San Marcos – Centro. Con este reinicio se completan las actividades que quedaron pendientes tras la terminación del contrato con el Consorcio Gaico-Hycsa el 30 de septiembre de 2018.
Las obras, que son ejecutadas por el Consorcio M2A, conformado por las empresas Construcciones Civiles JD y Serie Ingenieros, comprenden la adecuación de la estructura del pavimento rígido en zonas de estación, así como su construcción, reparación de losas e instalación de pavimento asfáltico; arreglo o reconstrucción de andenes y cruces peatonales identificados, culminación de redes de alumbrado público e instalación de la señalización y demarcación horizontal y vertical.
Por otro lado, también se ejecutarán a lo largo de todo el corredor, que va desde la calle 39 Sur hasta la 21 Sur, con carrera 43A, el empalme de las bocacalles en espacio público y en calzadas existentes, la construcción de obras de urbanismo (arquitectura y mobiliario urbano), así como los ensayos de verificación de estado de las redes hidrosanitarias ya construidas, para determinar su intervención y la elaboración de los planos record de las obras ya ejecutadas. Mientras que desde el componente ambiental se hará la reposición de 26 árboles y el mantenimiento de las zonas verdes del corredor.
Con este contrato, que tienen un costo aproximado de 633 millones de pesos, se completa la fase de obras pendientes por terminar en este sector de Envigado, que fueron reiniciadas en el mes de agosto con la semaforización del corredor y la disposición de los hallazgos arqueológicos.
Actualmente estas dos últimas obras se encuentran en ejecución, siendo así como la semaforización del tramo se encuentra con un avance del 65%. De los 10 cruces por ejecutar, 7 están listos y los 3 pendientes se encuentran en el frente 3, ubicado entre la calle 36 Sur y la iglesia de San Marcos. Allí falta la instalación de semáforos, controladores, cables y botoneras.
Por otro lado, se encuentra la culminación de las actividades relacionadas con el plan de manejo arqueológico aprobado por el ICANH para el proyecto, que se encuentra actualmente en la fase de laboratorio.
