- Tras nueve meses de ejecución finalizaron las obras de adecuación de la estación U de M, que presta servicio a más de siete mil usuarios por día.
- Las obras en la estación incluyeron el mejoramiento del Patio – Taller, con zona de lavado de buses, dos nuevas porterías de ingreso de los vehículos y una torre de control, optimizando la operación de las líneas de buses.
- Así mismo también se amplió y mejoró la plataforma de abordaje; se concluyó el edificio administrativo, así como un mejoramiento del espacio público alrededor de dicha estación, beneficiando a los ciudadanos de este sector de Belén.
- Esta obra fue finalizada gracias a las acciones jurídicas instauradas por Metroplús S.A., que permitieron la recuperación de 1.500 millones de pesos.
Tras las acciones jurídicas que Metroplús instauró contra la firma Bernardo Ossa López –BOL-, contratista que no terminó la segunda fase de la estación UdeM y otros proyectos como la construcción del deprimido en la Inferior con Los Balsos, la Entidad logró la devolución de recursos que permitieron la culminación de las obras de esta estación cabecera de la Troncal Belén – Aranjuez del sistema de buses y donde opera uno de los patio- talleres para el mantenimiento de los 77 buses que recorren este corredor.
Espacios terminados para el bienestar de usuarios, operadores de estación y comunidad de Belén.
Esta finalización que alcanzó un valor de $ 3.277 millones de pesos, permitió la ampliación de la plataforma de abordaje, pasando de 61,8 a 83,8 metros; con puertas sistematizadas para el ingreso y salida a los buses, así como con un cerramiento microperforado garantiza mayor seguridad para los usuarios de las líneas 1 y 2 de buses.
De igual manera también se terminó el edificio administrativo el cual será el lugar de trabajo para el personal encargado de operaciones de las líneas 1 y 2 de buses. Esta infraestructura, además de contar con oficinas, tiene espacios adecuados para el descanso y bienestar; zonas verdes y un parqueadero. Con esto se espera un aporte que permita mejorar las condiciones laborales del equipo de trabajo.
Se mejoró el Patio- Taller con la construcción de una zona de lavado de buses, dos porterías para ingreso y una salida, una torre de control, ofreciendo todas las herramientas necesarias para el buen mantenimiento de los vehículos que hoy hacen parte de la flota que transporta a los usuarios del sistema.
Finalmente el Consorcio Estación Troncal I.R., contratista encargado de finalizar las obras, mejoró la calle 29B, el espacio público que rodea la estación con nuevos andenes, rebajes, rampas, resaltos; señalización y semaforización que prioriza al peatón, permitiéndole un desplazamiento seguro alrededor de este Patio – Taller.
Resultados de estudio e implementación para la mitigación de ruido
Actualmente se adelanta un estudio con la empresa T.A. Aislamientos S.A.S., el mismo proveedor que instaló las pantallas antirruido de proyectos como Parques del Río.
El estudio recomendará la medida más eficiente para ello, pues se debe tener en cuenta que por ser un espacio abierto no es posible garantizar una insonorización total del patio, pero sí una reducción de los niveles auditivos actuales, de acuerdo a las normas establecidas. De acuerdo a esto, se gestionarán los recursos para implementar el sistema recomendado.
